Winter Fun...

A little while back (when we still had snow!) the boys built this snowman! If you include the hat - it's about 12ft! After all was said and done - it was run over with the snowmobile and used as a jump...

Faith A. Toman (Gr.10) Photo Shoot

I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination... however Faith asked me to do her Gr.10 photo shoot - here are some of the many  (note: the mischievous grin) So neat to watch as this girl is growing up into a young lady! Excited to see what the Lord has for her down the road as she continues to seek Him and follow His leading for her life!

Life Lately

I have been doing some reno's around here recently... and one of the projects was painting, Jonathan wanted to help here and this picture I had to share with you!  Spent some time with these dear children and we made some cookies - even Erik was dumping different ingredients in - so cute!   Weekend in Niagara Falls I had promised the three girls I would take them out for a weekend... it finally worked and I was thankful to find a very reasonable, nice hotel!  We ordered pizza in  The SkyWheel was a pretty big deal!    Not a very good picture, but the view was brilliant The hotel had a nice pool and hot-tub - so thankful!!  So thankful - was able to go back and spend some time with the whole family  Henry challenged me to a game of ping-pong - won't post outcome:)  Rushing around trying to get food out for guests!   So thankful to be able to spend time with this dear family! Such an encouragement

Just Because...

Isn't it neat how the Lord works!? I popped in to see a dear friend and she wanted to bless me with this spring arrangement of plants/flowers! She said - "Just to remind us that spring is coming... and with that new beginnings!" So thankful for the different people the Lord chooses to encourage us to keep on keeping on even when the keeping on gets hard!

Happy Birthday

-HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIANNA ZEKFELD- A dear friend is something even separation by continents cannot take away! She is one that kept my feet on the ground even when my head was in the clouds! She knew what to say when you didn't know what to do... but most of all she'd always point you to the One who wanted to hold you through every storm! Praying and hoping you have an amazing year!

I Am Your Shield

This is a song that has been a great encouragement to me and so I wanted to share it with all of you, hoping that it will minister to you and encourage you on... even during the dark times! May He give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of those secret places!  I Am Your Shield Rachel Wissman My child are you discouraged  By the sorrows of the day Does it seem like life is crumbing The skies have turned to grey Don’t forget I gave you promises to guide you every hour In the moment of your heartbreak Let me show you my great power   And I will be your shield When the battle rages on And I will be your light when the way ahead is dark I will be your strong tower And guide you every hour Just place your life completely in my hand I know it won’t be easy I never said it would But my grace will always be there My plans for you are good Remember that your weaknesses are perfect in my sight Only when you yield them to me can I turn

Thankful it's not worse!

My little brother sprained his ankle quite badly the other night at one of his hockey games! So thankful he doesn't have to have it all up in a cast - He's quite the trooper though as you can see. He picked up some spikes from the drug store and attached them to the bottom of his crutches - just so he wouldn't miss the first hockey game!

Family Christmas & Grandma's 85th Celebration

Reta Mae Toman is turning 85!!! Making sandwiches with my Aunts, Sisters, and cousin - special time! Reminded me of the Windmill - how I miss it!  Finished product - my Aunt made all these really neat tags  One of my close cousins (Samantha) with little Gideon   All of Grandma's grandchildren made it in to this picture except one - actually amazing!  My family  Some of my great-uncles and aunts  Grandma's two sisters And yes... we managed to find some time for the rink! First time this year... I think so often I took/take my extended family for granted - I am so blessed to have the Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc that I have.

Red, Brothers, Days Gone By

Here are the photos I took awhile back and said I'd upload - Aren't they a bunch of cuties  handsome young men!? Strolling...  This picture makes me smile - They were having a bit of trouble getting a real smile so I told a joke and this is what happened!   Quite the sense of humor this little boy has Keep in the middle of the road...

Ringing in New Year...

We were so blessed to be able to go up to Sauble Beach for a couple days to "ring" in the New Year - 2013. Friends of ours so graciously lent their cottage to us... it was so cozy!  The first evening no one was really tired and so we all sat up chatting together and trying to guess what the future held for each one of us! Although it's fun to guess and speculate, it's such a great assurance to know the One who knows our every tomorrow and has a future planned for us! He has a plan!  Fun times around the Legretto table : Monday we went hiking to see the Wiarton, Bruce Caves... and an attempt at the Bluffs:)  Jonathan and Micah seemed to love finding these sharp slopes! It didn't matter if they were roots, rocks, or roots and rocks! They loved the slide:)  All the Children  Everyone... so far!  there were all these crevices and holes... some people got claustrophobic   Jenelle and Chris  On some of the rocks up
