Hamilton Falls

"On our way to choir practice" we stopped off at three different falls!  It was another beautiful afternoon - perfect for a hike! Walking on top the escarpment  Falls #1 - Scenic Falls These are beautiful falls and definitely want to come back in the summer and spend some more time here!  Falls #2 - Upper Princess Falls Small but pretty! The lower falls you can only see from the hwy - will get a picture eventually! Falls #3+4 - Upper and Lower Cliffview Falls In a more residential area, but beautiful none the less - a lot of really unique homes in this area, a lot of wooded sections... a part of Hamilton most people don't know exists!

Another New Beginning part2.

So folks this is the before picture... after the shelves were dismantled, the ceiling was dropped, and then there was "stuff" moved back in so we could work in the other room! Drilling with more than one purpose in mind Just the beginning of breaking cement - a lot more to do, a whole wall to bring down and a whole other floor to break up! Getting excited though, even though this job somehow has suddenly become bigger than originally expected -something you always expect!

Apps Mills Hike

It was a last minute, thrown together thing, but so thankful it worked out! It was such a beautiful afternoon and couldn't justify working in the basement over spending time outside!  These dear girls are so sweet  Hugs for everyone! So thankful for this couple and all their quiet example of serving the body of Christ! Many laughs   Peaceful evening - so thankful for beautiful weather, sunshine, great friends, and for a Faithful Father who constantly reminds us of His unending love, by giving us strength and daily blessings! We're blessed beyond measure!

Skating in the Sunset and Sitting by the Fireplace!

We had some extra time the other night on the way to choir so as we were driving past a decent sized "frozen-over-puddle-turned-ice" in the field... This is why folks I always have both skates in my trunk (roller skates and ices skates!) BEAUTIFUL sunset! Daniel's friend from Mexico was able to stay for two days with us and joined us at choir Zoom in on the feet - yes it's true! So picturesque Leaning against a hydro pole - in the middle of the rink Every Monday after choir this small group of people meet at Tim's - we have been waiting weeks for the reno's to be finished - St.Patricks day they were complete! My dear friend who is always there!  Sometimes to share a laugh and sometimes to share a tear! Sometimes to share a word of advice and sometimes just to keep silent! Sometimes to give a word of encouragement and sometimes to give a word of reproof:) Sometimes to give me a hug and sometimes to... never mind! But always there

Happy 51st Dear Friend

My best friend turned 51 All the decorations were in light pink and white - her favorite colors, right now! The tables Et Voila - here she is, one of the most amazing woman in my life! Love her so much and everyday I find a new reason to be grateful for her! "When I grow up, I want to be just like her!"  All the food & desserts were little finger foods Coffee Pots de Creme - a new recipe - so very yummy! These are some of the people that came and blessed my dear mother! Was a lovely afternoon - chatting, eating, showing our love for one amazing woman! So thankful I get to call her mom!

Another New Beginning part1.

As the demand for Rach's Cakes increases - the challenge becomes more and more difficult to continue designing, decorating, and delivering all from the common kitchen. And so  Rach's Cakes  is moving and expanding! However before renovation can begin we all know that the "stuff" that as been collecting for the past 26 years has to get dealt with...*smile* First night we were able to merge two workshops into one second night we moved and organized all the canning - till we can put it in the new room Third night we were able to go through everything else in the old root cellar, disassemble to shelves                                               and bring down the old ceiling - a lot of work accomplished in a short period of time  but many hands make light work - thankful for their willingness! Choir was cancelled so my dear friend wanted to spend the evening with me - when I mentioned about beginning reno's she was all hands (and feet, and,

Though His Eyes

Do we all have this idea in our minds - that one day we will wake up and our future will be clear? What if it doesn't? Our future begins here, it begins now. God has so much for us right now, and though yes, it's so important to be cautious and careful of the decisions we make in life - THIS is where God has us, HERE is where He has placed us, NOW is when we are to be who we are called to be. His plan for us is HERE and NOW. If we are constantly living in the future, we will miss so much of what God has for us here and now... Being completely honest and transparent - I have found myself in this position many times, and sometimes still do. Someone just challenged me on this today! Looking back over the past few months I have seen so much of God's providence and grace in my life - seen Him work, seen His hand, and known that I have been able to bring (even if it was in some small way) change to this hurting world. There is a time when we realize that our own seemingl

Hair Cut

These are some of the memories that i want to capture  A few weeks back - all of the guys needed their hair-cut - all at once...imagine Aaron - my dear friend, prayer partner, and my sunshine James - always there to bring a smile, or some humor to any situation...also a great prayer warrior Micah - the sensitive one Jonathan - the baby, yet growing up so terribly fast! Learning to keep his own ground!
