Sunday Afternoon

One Sunday afternoon I brought these adorables back to the farm for some fishing! It's all I could do to get them to stop!                                     Hudson wanted to keep catching them, didn't think that it mattered if we couldn't eat them all!

Clarke & Lindsay's Wedding

Clarke and Lindsay July 3rd, 2016 They asked if my mom and I would decorate the reception for them - it was really fun working with my mom on this project. I was so blessed by the celebration of these two lovely people coming together - it's exciting to watch as God works and moves on their behalf - they're going to be a dynamite team!  The center pieces pre-lit:) Lindsay had a beautiful rustic theme going! She got her flowers done by a lady in Ayr that has just opened her shop. They were so pretty!  The seating plan  Head table - I purchased the pillar set and have been able to use them in a few different weddings I've done in the past couple years! It's been fun fitting them into many different venues, making them fit the desired decor theme of each bride.  Clarke and Linds had an outdoor wedding - sadly i didn't get any other pictures as there was a ton of people to catch up with! This was the pond beside the ceremony location!  Their fi

John Deere and Last Day of School

Love how well these two get along    I got these t-shirts for the boys at the beginning of the summer, and they completely wore them out! Every morning they'd wake up and ask for their tractor t-shirts!                                  Trip to the market to get strawberries - then we made oodles of jam -The best jam this side of the southern border!  Beach days are definitely the highlight of our summer days! I wanted to take the boys once before the girls got out of school! We all had a great time!  They spent hours collecting water and dumping it into the holes they had dug in the sand!  A few times I thought they were going to fall asleep like this - they loved being buried in the sand! And hip-hip horray! The last day of school finally arrived! We made cupcakes for our classmates and took each of our teachers maple syrup that the girls had made with their dad! To be honest we were all super excited that summer was here - that meant we could

Sunday School Picnic

Brad set up an challenge course that four teams had to complete racing the clock for first place! A lot of competitive leaders!                                  Potato Sack Race  Plank Walk   My super buddy and I monitoring the watermelon challenge!  Leaders pumping up their team!

Baptism 2016

So proud of this girl as she decided to take this public step! I am so encouraged by her sweet and giving life! Excited to see where life takes this one!  What can I say - yes, so proud of this guy as well! It's been really neat to see him growing over the past year. To see his sweet sensitivity to whats going on around him and his passion for music has been an inspiration for me - looking forward to watching what life holds for you Micah! We, your Bethel family are so blessed to stand with you and witness this exciting and important commitment! We are ONE!

Garden Planting

I had many willing helpers this year to plant the garden! It was really neat to see both my boys, especially Jacks  really getting in there and getting his hands dirty (pun intended:)). He's so detail orientated!  Their favorite spot this spring - the mulch pile! Shhh.. don't tell anyone! I had to include this picture as well - even though it isn't really relevant to planting the garden! The boys are so well behaved - and I'm so thankful and blessed! It's so easy just to pack them into the car if we need to make a quick trip to the grocery store (or in this case Lowe's). They're so easy going!

Cirque de Soleil - Toruk: First Flight

Adelle, one of my really good friends bought tickets for us to go see this amazing show Cirque de Soleil - TORUK: The First Flight It was epic! The actors were fantastic and all the design and music track fit so well! All I could say the whole way through was - WOW! I didn't want it to end! Really appreciated the skill and hours and hours of practice that was put into this production!  It was incredible! Adelle got amazing seats - As you can see we are smack dab in the middle, and fairly close to the front! It's definitely on of the top on my favorite theatricals that I've gone to!

Spring Catch-up

One rainy Saturday found us at Skyzone, Kitchener then to Happy Frappy Starbucks! It was my first time at Skyzone - definitely want to take the kids back there, maybe during the week sometime! It's not super cheap, but it was a fun outing. Starbucks was definitely a highlight - Grace and Izzy's introduction to the best drinks!  I had to bring the 'stang home one day - I felt pretty cool sitting in the driver seat, but definitely like my clutch better! Just had to share this picture - so that in years to come I remember!  Signs of spring - my boys love blowing dandelion seeds everywhere - love this stage of life!  Happy 21st to my best friend! Love this boy and so excited to see where these next few months will land him! He's studying at Conestoga and dating the love of his life!  This was a special night for me to remember - Past memories buried, new moments to remember! Yes, this is what it looks like! If you remember this blog started out wi
