A New Chapter

Excited to see the slow progress in my studio - the walls are completely studded now spray foam all done - Thanks Mr.Weber Next - drywall! Looking like I may get in sooner than I originally thought! Excited - God has been supplying all the finances and looking forward to watching as He continues to supply every need!

With the floor all dug up, most of the old walls torn down we were able to lay all the cement we needed to. Was a cooler than it likely should have been, but it was laid and is set nicely now The ramp in...James was a faithful guy   Leveling off...Jo-Jo got right in there So thankful for dad's help, couldn't have done it without him... was nice to spend some time with him as well the times seem to be stretching fewer and farther between makes the times we do get more special

 So folks this is the before picture... after the shelves were dismantled, the ceiling was dropped, and then there was "stuff" moved back in so we could work in the other room! Drilling with more than one purpose in mind Just the beginning of breaking cement - a lot more to do, a whole wall to bring down and a whole other floor to break up! Getting excited though, even though this job somehow has suddenly become bigger than originally expected -something you always expect!

As the demand for Rach's Cakes increases - the challenge becomes more and more difficult to continue designing, decorating, and delivering all from the common kitchen. And so  Rach's Cakes  is moving and expanding! However before renovation can begin we all know that the "stuff" that as been collecting for the past 26 years has to get dealt with...*smile* First night we were able to merge two workshops into one second night we moved and organized all the canning - till we can put it in the new room Third night we were able to go through everything else in the old root cellar, disassemble to shelves                                               and bring down the old ceiling - a lot of work accomplished in a short period of time  but many hands make light work - thankful for their willingness! Choir was cancelled so my dear friend want...

I am excited to finally post this one - it has been a long time in the making, but here it is!  Still not totally done the decor, but all the major changes are d-o-n-e! BEFORE    AFTER  Lots of willing helpers! During... learning lots

There have been some renovations that have been needing to be done... painting, putting up trim, mudding, fixing things here and there Here are two rooms finished!  Before - Burgandy w/holes:)  After - Hot Chocolate Brown - W/OUT holes  Something about putting a fresh coat on that says "so clean"  Room # 2 - Entrance #1 Before  After So nice to have these two sections done - more to come!
