Aaron's Graduation

Most of the family went down to the States at the beginning of the week, but because of work I was unable to, so the younger boys stayed back with me as well...  Trixy had puppies again and my girls love spending time with them - especially this one, Izzy - such a heart for animals!  Marshmallows + Campfire = Happy, Happy, Happy Kids!  I took the boys, and my grandparents down to NY with me We got in super late the night before, but the hotel we booked had a pool in it, so the boys HAD to swim, even if it was for only 10 minutes! The drive down was hard, but so thankful both grandparents were able to make it Some of his graduating class  Receiving his diploma The family  My parents and Aaron - who gave so selflessly!  So proud of this guy Aaron R. Soprano & Bass

As being the maid-of-honor I felt that it was an obligation to put on a shower for the bride-to-be. However I didn't want it just to be "another shower". For one, she's already had quite a few, and for another - they didn't need more stuff! I thought it would be fun just to get together some friends that go way back and have a fun evening of catching up! There were some people who really caught my vision for this evening and helped from beginning to end! The time seemed to catch up on me... and so two weeks before the event - people received their invitations. It was such a surprise as to how many people were able to make it out - so thankful! Some Prep-Work Photos  From Plywood to Ivories:) Wanted to create a photo booth - however never actually got it set up properly - ran out of time:) Was nice decor!  My brothers helping me with the eggs - you'll see later on  The streamer drapes  Mark offered to let us borrow his tent - which totally...

Annual Grand River TIP - 2013

I was so determined to take pictures of this event - however went to get my phone out of my car and realized it was dead - so once again had to rely on others.  Waiting to get into the water - took a little longer than normal this year Finally:) The journey has begun - starting with lots of tipping My favorite canoeist - special memories on the river    Looks like trouble - I`m sure at least one of those boats ended up upside down - if not all three!  Loading up after - was the perfect day for canoeing - river was high - sun was shining and the temperature was pretty warm - got chilly at the end, but we turned the heat on in the truck and it was all good:) A neat couple I got to know a little bit! They have a really neat story - love meeting new people! BBQ and fellowship time afterwards Campfire started Mark took mostly everyone on a wagon ride - felt so much like autumn, was nice. Then everyone went to the soccer field for a...
