A New Chapter

We were able to raise enough money to get almost 100 of these incredible hand lotions to give to those who needed them most! We went to the soup kitchen and as people were eating handed them out (Feb 14th) sharing the love that He has given us in a tangible way!  They were all individually wrapped with a music CD and they's kiddo's helped! It's such a neat thing when you feel you've been more blessed by giving then receiving - after all isn't that was it's all about! How will you share HIS relentless love today!?

Bacon wrapped asparagus    BBQ'd Steak and twice baked potatoes for the main meal - in my opinion they tasted pretty good! There is nothing quite like doing steak on the BBQ in the middle of winter - makes it taste all that much better!  Some of the most special people in the world! The oldest and the youngest! So...

A few days ago I asked the younger boys what they wanted for Valentines Dinner, because I wanted to do something special for them as my parents were gone! "Pizza" they said "Delissio Pizza"... wow! Faith ended up making delicious Nachos - so thankful when they pitch in, especially when I get home late from work. Micah had been asking me for some time if we could PLEASE decorate more cookies - so I promised him on Valentines we would. I invited quite a few younger girls over... however because of the weather only a few were able to come, was a fun evening.  Daniel trying to explain to me what he's done on his cookie.  Hard at work  note: Micah and Jonathan wanted a temporary beard, so used black face paint... ...
