Valentines Day

A few days ago I asked the younger boys what they wanted for Valentines Dinner, because I wanted to do something special for them as my parents were gone! "Pizza" they said "Delissio Pizza"... wow! Faith ended up making delicious Nachos - so thankful when they pitch in, especially when I get home late from work.
Micah had been asking me for some time if we could PLEASE decorate more cookies - so I promised him on Valentines we would. I invited quite a few younger girls over... however because of the weather only a few were able to come, was a fun evening.

So thankful for this extra special opportunity to be reminded of our Saviors unending faithful love for us! We all have so much to be thankful for! I was listening to a song on the way to work this morning and it really reminded me of it (well two actually and you'll have to bear with me as I try and interpret them - it's hard to translate a song from Spanish into English and still bring out the significance and beauty of it). They were talking about the Lord's hand in our lives, even when we can't see it, He's there working on our behalf, guiding our lives with His faithful hand. Maybe we won't understand it all now, but one day we'll be able to look back on past days and see His faithful hand in everything. Knowing it was just a part of His bigger plan for our lives. He uses that which is shattered, and from that brokenness writes a story of grace. He takes all that is lost and turns it into gain and for His ultimate glory... He gives us beauty for ashes
May you know His unending faithful love for you and feel His strong arms of love around you as you walk through every valley and carrying you as you cross over every mountain! 
Rest, Trust, Wait patiently in the arms of our faithful, all knowing, amazing Creator!

New Postings Coming

Dear Followers, I apologize for not writing on the happenings in the last few months! Many new opportunities, many ups and downs, but through it all - there is so much to learn, and hopefully in the process He's making us into stronger people, becoming more and more like Him! December was filled with lots of different Christmas happenings, get together's, music opportunities, visitations, baking, eating of yummy food, and spending time with family!  I maybe took 3 or 4 pictures - not much to show, but will be bringing more pictures of the upcoming months!  New Years - I was sick again, so I was home alone, while everyone went else where to ring in the New Year! I will be Mrs. Tallman ...background story!

Our story began August 20th, 2017 when through a fluke we got paired up to work a 12 hour shift together. Benjamin proved to be an incredible listener and super easy to talk to. This one shift turned into many more as Ben went to the supervisor (unbeknownst to me) requesting the same schedule. These shifts proved to be a highlight in my week and I couldn't wait to get on the truck every other Sunday with Benjamin. I cannot tell you when we started dating, but our first time meeting up to study (outside of work) was October 12th after school in a Starbucks in Grimsby, ON. Benjamin was a once in a lifetime friend and I was growing to admire and respect the man I saw in him. Finally, our school semester was over and we were able to spend a bit more time together and getting to know each others families. He fit into my family so well from day one.
