New Postings Coming

Dear Followers,

I apologize for not writing on the happenings in the last few months! Many new opportunities, many ups and downs, but through it all - there is so much to learn, and hopefully in the process He's making us into stronger people, becoming more and more like Him!

December was filled with lots of different Christmas happenings, get together's, music opportunities, visitations, baking, eating of yummy food, and spending time with family!

I maybe took 3 or 4 pictures - not much to show, but will be bringing more pictures of the upcoming months!
New Years - I was sick again, so I was home alone, while everyone went else where to ring in the New Year! A good time to reflect on the happenings, excitement, disappointments, blessings, and most of all His faithfulness! A lot to remember, be thankful for, but 2013 is past, and although it brought much joy and some of the happiest most fulfilled moments, times - this is 2014 and I'm excited to see what He will do this year!

I also joined the Team at Tim Horton's early in November - it's been a great opportunity and I'm thankful for the ladies I'm blessed to work with - such a joy!

Jonathan and I built our annual giant snowman - thankful for the opportunity to spend these times with my younger siblings. Praying and hoping that it will make a difference in their lives as I remember specific people investing into my life at this age.

Also took a day trip with some dear friends to Niagara Falls
It was such a beautiful day! We got down there nice and early - before everyone else! Took some really neat pictures, long walks, good chats, lots of laughs, and enjoyed the blessing of friendship!

I have also started up "Cookin' Up Some Gourmet" - an evening of discovering new recipes, sharing and creating new friendships, and reaching out to those anyone in need! It's every Thursday evening - all are welcome to join us - you're really missing out if you don't come, in so many ways!

First evening: Chicken Rollatini alla Parmigiana with fried rice and spinach salad finished off with Cream Puffs with Mascarpone Filling - was a lovely evening and the food was amazing!
The company was even better! So thankful for the this beautiful girl! She's been such an inspiration in my life- She has walked through so much with me - such a blessing!

I've also joined the Hosanna Choir again this season! So thankful it has worked out - it's such a blessing. A great evening of just lifting our voices to our Savior because of who He is. As well as being able to fellowship with other believers! Looking forward to the concerts - a lot of great pieces this year! If you're interested in coming out to any of them, just let me know!

I Am Your Shield

This is a song that has been a great encouragement to me and so I wanted to share it with all of you, hoping that it will minister to you and encourage you on... even during the dark times! May He give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of those secret places!  I Am Your Shield Rachel Wissman My child are you discouraged  By the sorrows of the day Does it seem like life is crumbing The skies have turned to grey Don’t forget I gave you promises to guide you every hour In the moment of your heartbreak Let me show you my great power   And I will be your shield When the battle rages on And I will be your light when the way ahead is dark I will be your strong tower And guide you every hour Just place your life completely in my hand I know it won’t be easy I never said it would But my grace will always be there My plans for you are good Remember that your weaknesses are perfect in my sight Only when you yield them to ...

I will be Mrs. Tallman ...background story!

Our story began August 20th, 2017 when through a fluke we got paired up to work a 12 hour shift together. Benjamin proved to be an incredible listener and super easy to talk to. This one shift turned into many more as Ben went to the supervisor (unbeknownst to me) requesting the same schedule. These shifts proved to be a highlight in my week and I couldn't wait to get on the truck every other Sunday with Benjamin. I cannot tell you when we started dating, but our first time meeting up to study (outside of work) was October 12th after school in a Starbucks in Grimsby, ON. Benjamin was a once in a lifetime friend and I was growing to admire and respect the man I saw in him. Finally, our school semester was over and we were able to spend a bit more time together and getting to know each others families. He fit into my family so well from day one. My siblings adored him as he took time to listen to them and be interested in their lives! Christmas together was amazing...and then it was ...
