A New Chapter

December 19th, 2014 began our 12 days of Christmas trip!   On one of our layovers - I got super cheap tickets, but that meant a few layovers! I didn't mind too much...  First day there we travelled to a town a ways away where they sold a lot of wool products - neat to experience. This town was definitely not so well off. Missing the kitchen - Manny pulled 5 ingredients out of the cupboard and fridge and we made these cookies!  At the mall overlooking part of the city!  Suppose it became Lyd and my thing to take a picture with every character we saw!  On a walk by a lake! Pretty & Chilly "Going down town, spreading good cheer"  In Taxco - "Cheers"  In the mine - our tour guide was incredibly cute! Was about 8 years old, but don't mess with him - He know's his stuff!  King-Kong - Was a big smelly costume:)  Another restaurant overlooking Taxco Manny and I being goofs - you can't see ...

Every year (almost) we make a trip back to MaCrae Lake to relax, reflect, and bask in the sun! Depending on which team get's up first;)  Yes, we did mani's and pedi's there too! It was a great relaxing weekend - just what everyone needed at the end of a very busy summer!  ...

Tom and Beth were missing some counselors, Hiccup and I got recruited. Our first time counseling - but we had a ton of fun planning the devotions, decorating the room, and well everything!   Our camp names! So thankful this beautiful gal was my co-counselor!
