The sunrise is a sign of a new day, bright with hope for new experiences and God's faithfulness and mercy
"Morning by morning, new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand has provided! Great is Thy faithfulness Lord unto me."
My dear brother Aaron showed up at work quite early in the morning and tried to sneak in and out without me seeing him... he brought me these beautiful flowers! Made all the other girls jealous - yes I'm super blessed!
(notice the candle)
Lemon Poppy Seed Cupcakes with a refreshing lemon meringue icing - made by my dear sister Faith.
I think this has to be my absolute favorite type of cake - so sweet of her (no pun intended).
She also handmade chocolate "#21" to go on top of them!
Not quite sure, but this was supposed to be Daniel's birthday picture
My dear, dear sister, whom I love so very much and miss every day!! Thankful for the moments and times we do get to share together, but miss the old times!
Jenelle and Chris had us over - celebrated over yummy cheeses, a delicious chicken & rice casserole, and cheesecake! Shared with dear family - couldn't ask for better!
My dear brother Micah asked me to pick out a design and he would make my birthday cake - it was so cute...
Love this picture of us three
Lannette (a close, dear friend) wanted to take me out for my birthday.
She so blessed me - we went to Foster's Inn Stratford
Shared some yummy food and an amazing Creme Brulee - also shared together what God has been doing in our lives in the past few months, where He's brought us from, what He's brought us through, and where He's taking us! Excited for her as she draws closer to Him and is discovering more of His plan for her life - a beautiful friend!
Hannah and Stephanie also wanted to take me out for my birthday - we went to the Taco Farm!
They served up some of the best taco's this part of the country...
made it over to William's for a Waffle too!
Bright & Cheery flowers from a very close and dear friend, Wilma. They remind me so much of her and what her friendship means to me! She always has a smile...ready to make anyone's day bright! So very thankful for her friendship, encouragement, support, and love!
A Bromeliad from my dear father.

Another year has passed and with it many days and months of God constantly proving (over and over, time and again) His faithfulness, mercy, love, and grace in my life!
As I reflect over the past year - a lot of changes, a lot of adjustments...they are all for a reason and with them come the opportunity to choose how I'd respond.
Some positive, some seemingly negative, but none of them took God by surprise! He never leads us where His grace will not carry us. He has proven that to me time and time again!
Thankful for the many different relationships that have developed and continue to grow!
Though I don't know what this next year will hold, I do know and trust that as I'm holding His hand, taking one step at a time I'll look back over this year as well and say "Great is Thy Faithfulness" and be so incredibly amazed and thankful for His leading and directing in my life!
May it be said of my life - that His light was able to shine through me and may the footprints that I leave, lead many people to believe... and inspire them to obey His lead!

With excitement and anticipation for what He will do, I leap into this next year with Him!

New Postings Coming

Dear Followers, I apologize for not writing on the happenings in the last few months! Many new opportunities, many ups and downs, but through it all - there is so much to learn, and hopefully in the process He's making us into stronger people, becoming more and more like Him! December was filled with lots of different Christmas happenings, get together's, music opportunities, visitations, baking, eating of yummy food, and spending time with family!  I maybe took 3 or 4 pictures - not much to show, but will be bringing more pictures of the upcoming months!  New Years - I was sick again, so I was home alone, while everyone went else where to ring in the New Year! A good time to reflect on the happenings, excitement, disappointments, blessings, and most of all His faithfulness! A lot to remember, be thankful for, but 2013 is past, and although it brought much joy and some of the happiest most fulfilled moments, times - this is 2014 and I'm excited to see what He w

I Am Your Shield

This is a song that has been a great encouragement to me and so I wanted to share it with all of you, hoping that it will minister to you and encourage you on... even during the dark times! May He give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of those secret places!  I Am Your Shield Rachel Wissman My child are you discouraged  By the sorrows of the day Does it seem like life is crumbing The skies have turned to grey Don’t forget I gave you promises to guide you every hour In the moment of your heartbreak Let me show you my great power   And I will be your shield When the battle rages on And I will be your light when the way ahead is dark I will be your strong tower And guide you every hour Just place your life completely in my hand I know it won’t be easy I never said it would But my grace will always be there My plans for you are good Remember that your weaknesses are perfect in my sight Only when you yield them to me can I turn
