Family Update 2018

 Chris & Jenelle Walter
This lovely couple bought a house this past year in Hanover, ON - the town Chris grew up in! They have both put so much time and energy into making that little spot their warm cozy home.
They both continue to invest into the community up there and desire to be used wherever needed!
We sure do love having them around again!

Aaron & Hannah Toman
This lovely couple also continues to invest heavily into the community in which they live (Westmount, Kitchener) and are reaching many people! Aaron continues to work at Toman Services Electrical & Plumbing and is thriving. Hannah loves her students and invests so much time and energy into each and every one! Exciting new move coming up for this couple soon!
Rachel & Benjamin
This picture right here sums up more than I can possibly write! Benjamin has been such an anchor for me over this past year through many different up and downs! He has supported me and encouraged me... He has given me the courage to fly!
Rachel: I finished my last in class period in school and am currently working on finishing up my last 540 hours of consolidation - loving every single minute! I am incredibly lucky with the preceptors I was given, honestly, could not have asked for better! Through their patient tutelage I know that I will be better equipped for this exciting career ahead! Thanks guys! Working really hard to stay on top of my studies as well. I will be writing my provincial exam October 3, 2018... when it all counts!
Benjamin: Has graduated from Niagara College and written his A-EMCA. He is currently waiting to hear back from several services in the final stage of hiring. I am so proud of my man and how far he's going! Ben will be an incredible medic. He is also busy on his off days helping his grandma keep up her farm and working on the side as well - not sure how he does it all, plus keep up with me!
Exciting news coming from this couple soon...something about a ring and weddings!
Daniel & Rachel Toman
This couple bought their first house and are crazy excited to be moving in super soon! This has been a dream of Dan's for a really long time, so excited to see it finally happening for him. Daniel is also back with Barry Kropf and his auto body repair! Rachel continues her work in Paris at the bookstore.
 Faith
This girl, OH MY GOODNESS world, look out! This girl is on fire! She finished her nursing program at STOGA and has written her provincial exam as of NOW!
I am so incredibly proud of this girl and the enormous amount of growth I have seen in these past two crazy years! Moving out on her own pushed her to venture and she is living life to the fullest!
So proud of you girl and where you will go! Keep your head up!

Hannah & James
James was accepted onto the volunteer fire department in New Dundee and it has totally consumed him! It has been so fun to watch as he receives a page and watch him bolt like lightning for his car! He always seems to be less than 10 seconds from his car! Excited to see him pursing his passions! He is also going with Samaritans Purse this summer to do some relief work - this is one incredible guy folks!
Micah
This guy never ceases to amaze me with his many different gifts and talents! He completed his grade five Royal Conservatory sax exam and absolutely nailed it! Micah has so much musical talent and I'm so encouraged to see as he pursues this avenue!
In other news he has also landed a job milking cows a few nights a week which is bringing in a bit more than his usual landscaping job which is evidenced by his incredibly TANNED skin!
This guy is going places people!
Jonathan
Once the baby always the baby! Jonathan has grown up so much over this past year and it's been super neat to see him growing into a very strong young man! His love for sports is contagious, especially soccer. He has improved so much over the past few months! He continues to be the sweetest of the sweet and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you're happy!
Thanks bro for always putting a smile on my face!

And folks, there you have it! A nutshell of what this family has been up to. We are all excited to be able to spend part of a week at a cottage in about a month! It will be a break from the norm for all of us and hopefully a really good time to reconnect and build each and ever relationship.

I guarantee that if you stick around for a bit longer, other exciting news is sure to follow close behind!

New Postings Coming

Dear Followers, I apologize for not writing on the happenings in the last few months! Many new opportunities, many ups and downs, but through it all - there is so much to learn, and hopefully in the process He's making us into stronger people, becoming more and more like Him! December was filled with lots of different Christmas happenings, get together's, music opportunities, visitations, baking, eating of yummy food, and spending time with family!  I maybe took 3 or 4 pictures - not much to show, but will be bringing more pictures of the upcoming months!  New Years - I was sick again, so I was home alone, while everyone went else where to ring in the New Year! A good time to reflect on the happenings, excitement, disappointments, blessings, and most of all His faithfulness! A lot to remember, be thankful for, but 2013 is past, and although it brought much joy and some of the happiest most fulfilled moments, times - this is 2014 and I'm excited to see what He w

I Am Your Shield

This is a song that has been a great encouragement to me and so I wanted to share it with all of you, hoping that it will minister to you and encourage you on... even during the dark times! May He give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of those secret places!  I Am Your Shield Rachel Wissman My child are you discouraged  By the sorrows of the day Does it seem like life is crumbing The skies have turned to grey Don’t forget I gave you promises to guide you every hour In the moment of your heartbreak Let me show you my great power   And I will be your shield When the battle rages on And I will be your light when the way ahead is dark I will be your strong tower And guide you every hour Just place your life completely in my hand I know it won’t be easy I never said it would But my grace will always be there My plans for you are good Remember that your weaknesses are perfect in my sight Only when you yield them to me can I turn

Christmas Preparations & Finishing up Second Semester

2017 seemed to be a year full of new adventures and "firsts"! I hadn't been home for all the hustle and bustle of Christmas for 5 years and boy did I ever miss it! Starbucks and studying for finals filled my December Experiencing and practicing out skills out in the "field" - preparing us for our final practical Something I've really missed doing - hanging the Christmas lights out at the farm! This year Ben helped James and I - a great night filled with music, laughter, and cookies (thanks Jo-Jo)  "Festival of Lights" - OWEN SOUND  It was a very wet/rainy night, but it was PERFECT! Ben and I had so much fun walking around Owen Sound talking, laughing, and experiencing the beginning of many new Christmas things together!
