Family Shoot 2012

Toman Family 2012

Winter Wonderland
Finally we were able to get everyone together for a few family shots - it was getting dark, but our amazing photographer, a dear friend - Liz Heikoop did an great job at capturing the light that was left!
I had to include this one - we were to keep our noses covered so we wouldn't all look like Rudolf - I mentioned something about "That's just cause Liz wants to take lots of pics with our noses covered"... at which point Liz captured this one! A moment you had to be there for I suppose!

So much in love and falling more and more each day - how I want to be after 30yrs of marriage
What an incredibly beautiful lady - mom you are truly an amazing lady, so inspirational, so talented, so lovely, so full of gentleness, a women of prayer, and an incredible example!
Love this pic
Wedding date - October 4th, 2013
Aaron - such a man after God's own heart! May He give you the desires of your heart and may He give to you the secrets of the dark places, and hidden treasures of darkness!
Me - Father don't let me forget the beauty in the suffering
Daniel - the academic man, the technical one, when all the duck are in a row... however there is a laid backness about you! Everyone's friend!
Faith - growing into such a beautiful young lady!
James - love how you captured his personality so well in this pic Liz! His spunky humor is contagious, a seeker of God, loves working with "his" cows!
Micah - A sensitive and affectionate young man always ready to give out a compliment!
Jonathan - the baby of the family - so considerate, so giving, such a servant!

My dear sister - those many hours spent together will be cherished forever! So excited to watch as you move into what God has for you... the desires of your heart!

      This sums up our relationship:)

The girls - my absolute favorite picture!

Thanks Liz for putting up with us in the cold and wind! So appreciated! Thanks to my family for putting up with me as you braved the cold... see it paid off:)

I Am Your Shield

This is a song that has been a great encouragement to me and so I wanted to share it with all of you, hoping that it will minister to you and encourage you on... even during the dark times! May He give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of those secret places!  I Am Your Shield Rachel Wissman My child are you discouraged  By the sorrows of the day Does it seem like life is crumbing The skies have turned to grey Don’t forget I gave you promises to guide you every hour In the moment of your heartbreak Let me show you my great power   And I will be your shield When the battle rages on And I will be your light when the way ahead is dark I will be your strong tower And guide you every hour Just place your life completely in my hand I know it won’t be easy I never said it would But my grace will always be there My plans for you are good Remember that your weaknesses are perfect in my sight Only when you yield them to ...

New Postings Coming

Dear Followers, I apologize for not writing on the happenings in the last few months! Many new opportunities, many ups and downs, but through it all - there is so much to learn, and hopefully in the process He's making us into stronger people, becoming more and more like Him! December was filled with lots of different Christmas happenings, get together's, music opportunities, visitations, baking, eating of yummy food, and spending time with family!  I maybe took 3 or 4 pictures - not much to show, but will be bringing more pictures of the upcoming months!  New Years - I was sick again, so I was home alone, while everyone went else where to ring in the New Year! A good time to reflect on the happenings, excitement, disappointments, blessings, and most of all His faithfulness! A lot to remember, be thankful for, but 2013 is past, and although it brought much joy and some of the happiest most fulfilled moments, times - this is 2014 and I'm excited to see what He w...

New York City

This past April Wilma was doing a Prospective Student Day in Philadelphia, so we took our time getting there and did some really neat walks!   Glen Watkins - St. Park They were grooming the trails at this state park so we weren't able to walk around here, but went a bit East to another state park where we walked for 14km and saw a ton of falls and enjoyed the beautiful spring air! One of my favorite falls - reminded me of a cupcake!  To get a great picture we had to cross this chilly creek  View from the top  We spent the night in the suburbs of Philadelphia in gorgeous German Town where we enjoyed a very unique hotel and a walk down the cobblestone roads! I wish we could have spent more time there!  This is us the next morning before class started  Wilma was checking this school out prospectively for her Masters in Counselling - was a beautiful facilities and all the staff was very accommodating! ...
