A New Chapter

My parents were invited to some friends place close to Erie, Pennsylvania and after completing all the cake orders I was able to go down for a bit.  Was so nice to just relax, chat, and play a few games! Spent the morning in the Pine Bush, cleaning it up Then joined a sweet friend in Toronto for the day! Got there later than expected, but thankful for the opportunity! We took the ferry across to the Island and spent the afternoon/evening walking around the Island chatting, sharing about life, and counselling one another! Came back across, enjoyed a super yummy together and saw the city lights, missed our fire-works, but heard them!! Was a lovely weekend - so nice to have these long weekends every once in awhile (we need more of them) to get some of the extra things done around the house!

After creating an online profile as a caregiver several years ago, and  being contacted by numerous different people, God directed so clearly to this family! Although I created my profile for the bigger cities South of my place The family ended up right at the end of my driveway! Love God's sense of humor! The twins - just turned 1 - learning to walk, talk, and love being held! They won my heart within the first minute of meeting them!   Helping me in the garden - so thankful they love being outside! In the "dandelion" field & baking cookies with the cutie pie and well - what can I say! Started out as apple dumplings... Enjoy watching these beautiful kids - looking forward to spending more time with them and watching them as they grow up, which will happen way too quickly! So now...I'm a Nanny! So thankful to have these kids in my life...Who's know's how long this chapter in my life will be, only God knows! Trusting He will l...

My days at Tim Hortons passed quickly - started November 2013-May2014. I knew when I started it was an in between thing till I knew what was next, little did I know it would be 6 short months. These girls are some of the sweetest girls and I'm so thankful the Lord brought them across my path - just when He knew I needed them most! It's hard to believe how close you can get to co-workers in 6 months....love these gals!  Danielle - my amazing manager! Thanks for all our chats, thanks for being so patient with me!  Angie - such a sweet supervisor - miss your quiet, playful personality! Keep looking up girl!  Tayler - dear sweet friend! Right from the first day I walked in - I knew we were going to work good together! Thanks for listening and being patient! Looking forward to many more bike rides, walks, and whatever else together:)  Susie W. - our afternoon baker! Keep your chin up and don't give up! Wait for the best! Miss your smile!  ...

So thankful to join with over 25,000 other pro-life people on a march in our capital city! It was a very quick trip there and back home, not much sleep, but thankful I was able to go Everyone beginning to gather for the speeches  The walk has begun Dear Friend Ariette:)  Overlooking Quebec The back of our bus!
