New Job - 5 Adorable Children

After creating an online profile as a caregiver several years ago, and 
being contacted by numerous different people, God directed so clearly to this family!
Although I created my profile for the bigger cities South of my place
The family ended up right at the end of my driveway! Love God's sense of humor!
The twins - just turned 1 - learning to walk, talk, and love being held!
They won my heart within the first minute of meeting them! 
 Helping me in the garden - so thankful they love being outside!
In the "dandelion" field & baking cookies with the cutie pie
and well - what can I say! Started out as apple dumplings...
Enjoy watching these beautiful kids - looking forward to spending more time with them and watching them as they grow up, which will happen way too quickly!
So now...I'm a Nanny! So thankful to have these kids in my life...Who's know's how long this chapter in my life will be, only God knows! Trusting He will lead and direct into whatever He has next!

Christmas Preparations & Finishing up Second Semester

2017 seemed to be a year full of new adventures and "firsts"! I hadn't been home for all the hustle and bustle of Christmas for 5 years and boy did I ever miss it! Starbucks and studying for finals filled my December Experiencing and practicing out skills out in the "field" - preparing us for our final practical Something I've really missed doing - hanging the Christmas lights out at the farm! This year Ben helped James and I - a great night filled with music, laughter, and cookies (thanks Jo-Jo)  "Festival of Lights" - OWEN SOUND  It was a very wet/rainy night, but it was PERFECT! Ben and I had so much fun walking around Owen Sound talking, laughing, and experiencing the beginning of many new Christmas things together! The firework display was incredible, just in case anyone is thinking of checking it out next year - GO!!! They also did a great job at displaying many different set ups of Christmas lights!  Oh, and what better ...

(Parts of) Family Day

Family Day was different this year then others - it had become an annual tradition to go hiking, however due to some conflicting plans it didn't work out this year! Some went here, others there, yet we were all together for dinner!  I took Faith and the two youngest boys swimming - there was hardly anyone there, the boys so enjoyed it!  Game time  Music Time  Grandma wanted help cutting out her runner...  At 10pm I got inspired to do a cake - I had a gracious helper:) My Dad's project for the day! It's so nice - getting all these projects done around here!

Sunday Afternoon

 One Sunday afternoon I brought these adorables back to the farm for some fishing! It's all I could do to get them to stop!                                     Hudson wanted to keep catching them, didn't think that it mattered if we couldn't eat them all!
