Goodbye Tims


My days at Tim Hortons passed quickly - started November 2013-May2014. I knew when I started it was an in between thing till I knew what was next, little did I know it would be 6 short months.

These girls are some of the sweetest girls and I'm so thankful the Lord brought them across my path - just when He knew I needed them most! It's hard to believe how close you can get to co-workers in 6 months....love these gals!
 Danielle - my amazing manager! Thanks for all our chats, thanks for being so patient with me!
 Angie - such a sweet supervisor - miss your quiet, playful personality! Keep looking up girl!
 Tayler - dear sweet friend! Right from the first day I walked in - I knew we were going to work good together! Thanks for listening and being patient! Looking forward to many more bike rides, walks, and whatever else together:)
 Susie W. - our afternoon baker! Keep your chin up and don't give up! Wait for the best!

 Susie S. - mi amiguita! Te extrano mucho! Fue muy divertido hablar contigo en espanol/Portuguese! 
 Lisa - First we worked nights together, then it was days...love your personality! Miss your accent:)

Funky us! Miss you girls! Love coming in to see you, but it isn't the same! Spent a huge chunk of time with you - will never forget those 6 short months with you dear gals!

Christmas Preparations & Finishing up Second Semester

2017 seemed to be a year full of new adventures and "firsts"! I hadn't been home for all the hustle and bustle of Christmas for 5 years and boy did I ever miss it! Starbucks and studying for finals filled my December Experiencing and practicing out skills out in the "field" - preparing us for our final practical Something I've really missed doing - hanging the Christmas lights out at the farm! This year Ben helped James and I - a great night filled with music, laughter, and cookies (thanks Jo-Jo)  "Festival of Lights" - OWEN SOUND  It was a very wet/rainy night, but it was PERFECT! Ben and I had so much fun walking around Owen Sound talking, laughing, and experiencing the beginning of many new Christmas things together! The firework display was incredible, just in case anyone is thinking of checking it out next year - GO!!! They also did a great job at displaying many different set ups of Christmas lights!  Oh, and what better ...

(Parts of) Family Day

Family Day was different this year then others - it had become an annual tradition to go hiking, however due to some conflicting plans it didn't work out this year! Some went here, others there, yet we were all together for dinner!  I took Faith and the two youngest boys swimming - there was hardly anyone there, the boys so enjoyed it!  Game time  Music Time  Grandma wanted help cutting out her runner...  At 10pm I got inspired to do a cake - I had a gracious helper:) My Dad's project for the day! It's so nice - getting all these projects done around here!

Sunday Afternoon

 One Sunday afternoon I brought these adorables back to the farm for some fishing! It's all I could do to get them to stop!                                     Hudson wanted to keep catching them, didn't think that it mattered if we couldn't eat them all!
