Capturing December 28th

December 28th - Words

I knew as soon as I saw the "challenge" for today that I wanted to do something like this... I do have to admit though I didn't take all the pictures this morning - some I took yesterday! I hope this still counts!

A dear friend gave me this verse quite a few months back and how very true it is
Isaiah 30:18 - And therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all they that wait for Him. Sometimes the seasons of waiting are times where the Lord wants to do things in our lives that He couldn't accomplish any other way! He wants total glory in every situation and sometimes makes situations seem SO impossible in our lives that only HE could bring them to pass!
Isaiah 64:3 - For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God besides thee, who works for him that waits for Him.
So dear friends... wait on the Lord - He will be your constant strength and will bring you across this valley to a glorious end!!

Dear Followers, I apologize for not writing on the happenings in the last few months! Many new opportunities, many ups and downs, but through it all - there is so much to learn, and hopefully in the process He's making us into stronger people, becoming more and more like Him! December was filled with lots of different Christmas happenings, get together's, music opportunities, visitations, baking, eating of yummy food, and spending time with family! I maybe took 3 or 4 pictures - not much to show, but will be bringing more pictures of the upcoming months! New Years - I was sick again, so I was home alone, while everyone went else where to ring in the New Year! A good time to reflect on the happenings, excitement, disappointments, blessings, and most of all His faithfulness! New York City

This past April Wilma was doing a Prospective Student Day in Philadelphia, so we took our time getting there and did some really neat walks! Glen Watkins - St. Park They were grooming the trails at this state park so we weren't able to walk around here, but went a bit East to another state park where we walked for 14km and saw a ton of falls and enjoyed the beautiful spring air! One of my favorite falls - reminded me of a cupcake! To get a great picture we had to cross this chilly creek View from the top We spent the night in the suburbs of Philadelphia in gorgeous German Town where we enjoyed a very unique hotel and a walk down the cobblestone roads! I wish we could have spent more time there! This is us the next morning before class started Wilma was checking this school out prospectively for her Masters in Counselling - was a beautiful facilities and all the staff was very accommodating! ...
